Need Persian rug fringe repair? Here’s How we restore damaged edges in New York City.

A dog chewed the edges of this rug along the fringes necessitating fringe restoration. First, we professionally cleaned the rug. Next, we atttached the rug to a small loom. Next, we rebuilt the missing warp on which we reknotted the missing pile. This is the stage that is shown in the photo above. When we are done, the excess yarns at the very top of the rug will be a new section of fringe. Fringes are attractive to dogs, babies, and vacuums so special care should be paid to ensuring that they are not compromised and can continue to protect the pile from coming undone. --www.traditionalrugrepair.com
