Antique Turkish Kilim Rug Repair - Final

After cleaning the kilim, sourcing the yarns, and reweaving the damaged areas, the result of our kilim repair project is shown in the photograph above.  Below are photo reminders of what the kilim looked like at the beginning of the kilim repair project, and, finally, mid-process.  This kilim looked like a painting from far away - it was that exquisite.  It had already adorned our client's home for decades and was now being gifted to his son who, with any luck, will enjoy this gorgeous antique kilim for decades to come. ---www.traditionalrugrepair.com
