How to Repair a Hole in an Oriental Rug

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth way more.  We've written countless times about our rug repair projects, but would like to share a very short video of some of our work.  This lovely Oriental rug had a significant hole caused by what we think was a young puppy that mistook the rug for a tasty snack.  The resulting hole was significant in that it damaged not only the pile, but also the warp and weft on which the pile was built.  We first professionally cleaned the rug and then proceeded to rebuild the warp and weft.  The video shows a snippet of the process we undertook to rebuild the weft after we already rebuilt the warp.  Rug restoration is a time consuming process, but a very rewarding one. ---
